Born in Toronto, ON May 17, 1951. Passed away peacefully in Victoria Hospice on October 9th, 2020.
Bev was predeceased by her mother Margaret Elaine Clark in 1997. She is survived by her spouse Misha Jeb Clark, father George Sumner Clark, brothers Larry George Clark and David Robert Clark, sister-in-law Sharon Lynne Reid (Brian), brother-in-law Dennis Wayne Sytnyk, nephews Steven Robert Clark, Stephen Christopher Sytnyk (Ursula), and Geravin Sytnyk (Sarah), and her nieces, Rhonda Louise Dickson (Karl), Hayleah Jayde Sytnyk, and Hannah Sytnyk.
Bev was an Air Force brat, living in Barrie, ON, Greenwood, NS, Comox, BC, Trenton, ON, and Gimli, MB before her family settled in Ottawa, ON.
She attended Ridgemont High and then spent 5 years at Carleton University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 1975, Bev moved to Vancouver, BC and attended the University of British Columbia, where she obtained her Law degree. She then worked for a year before taking off and traveling to New Zealand and Australia. She stayed for almost 6 months and returned to Vancouver in May of 1981. In June, she met her lifelong partner Misha. Bev was also an avid gardener and designed a beautiful oasis, where she and their family of whippets, and later, Manchester terriers spent many hours enjoying the flowers and plants that she grew.
Bev was a retired policy analyst for the BC Government. Her colleagues remember her as a calm, gentle, and fun coworker and friend.
Bev will be sadly missed by her spouse Misha and their dog Jed, her remaining family and her dear friends.
