Obituary of Betty JOBBINS

Betty Jobbins January 1933 – January 2020 With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Betty at Victoria Hospice on January 30, 2020 after a reoccurrence of cancer. Betty was born in the Glenboro area but lived the majority of her life in Melita. She taught in the Melita school system for 26 years and will be remembered by students and friends as a highly respected teacher and an intrical part of the community always willing to be there for her friends and anyone in need. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Doug of 65 years, and immediate family members Harold, Susan, John and grandchildren Daniel, Jaymie, Annalise and Dylan, her sister Janice, her brother Dwayne, and many extended family members and numerous friends in Melita and the Bridge community. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Southwest Manitoba Regional Foundation.
