My dad just left the millitary ..when he came back home you left for Canada with ome Heinz. You were 25 years old that time.My dad always told me what a very kind and giving person you were..and on top of that you were also very pretty with your beautiful hair ..every boy was crazy about you!But you wanted to go to Canada..and now you have this big Family. over there!!You did so good!
I have a lot of respect for you.
I Will always keep thinking of you..and as long as my dad lives I will always keep on hearing the stories about you that he remembers.
My beautiful Oma, I wish I was able to hold your hand, see you smile & hear your voice one last time. I will forever treasure all of my memories with you - sleeping over at your appartment when I was younger, making home made chocolate & eating the whole bowl together. You putting my hair in curlers while we watched old movies, and walking all over Downtown Victoria just because we're both city girls & love the excitement, and we couldn't resist getting the apple fritters from the market.
My mom has always said that I have so much of you in me, Oma. I am grateful for that because you were amazing & loving!
Thank you for being my Oma. I love you and I miss you so much.
Mom,I have all good memories of you. The Sunday get togethers, the family Holidays and your great cooking especially your cucumbers but most of all the Apple fritters you loved so much. Thankyou for loving me like your own son and marrying your beautiful daughter Marilyn.I will remember your smile, laughter and bright blue eyes that would light up a room. Rest in Peace Mom you are loved and never forgotten,Ron
This is a sad day. I will miss Anna. She was a beautiful woman and a wonderful sister-in-law. I will miss the way she laughed with Marijke, her younger sister and my wife, and the wonderful way she treated my two sons. She was a great Tante Annie. Whenever Anna and Marijke were together there was always laughter; and joy filled whatever room they were in. It was temarkable how she coped with her illness over the years. Quiet courage and resolve. She never complained. She was always pleasant. Anna is in a better place now playing "Joker" with her Moeder, her Vader, Sus and Broer.
My condolences to the family.
Mom,I have all good memories of you. The Sunday get togethers, the family Holidays and your great cooking especially your cucumbers but most of all the Apple fritters you loved so much along with KFC.Thankyou for loving me like your own son and marrying your beautiful daughter Marilyn. I will remember your smile, laughter and twinkling bright blue eyes that would light up a room. I will always love and remember you,you are in my heart always,Ron

Heaven has gained a sweet angel. Life is so precious and death is such a thief, but you're finally at peace.
You have greatly impacted many lives and pieces of you will live on through those you have touched.
I admire the woman you were and I will forever cherish all of the memories we have.
Rest peacefully Oma,
you will always have a place in my heart.
Knowing the man Gerry is speaks volumes to the values, and sense of humor, you had. He has now passed them on to your granddaughter and great grandson, Jennifer and James.
Rest easy now
Tante Annie, thank you so very much for all of the time we were able to spend together growing up. As kids you always made us feel so welcome in your home. You always made us laugh (and cream puffs!). As we grew a bit older we could see just how much you loved your whole family, and them you. We are happy that there is a good time being had now that you have caught up with some loved ones. Love you forever. - Mark and Mike, and our growing families.
Thank you for raising a wonderful son and welcoming me into your family. Gerry and I still laugh when we think about you thanking me for loving your son. It has been my pleasure to love him and you. A special memory I have of you is when you and Marijke came up to Campbell River to visit us, we had a wonderful time and topped it all off with a game of cards as I discovered this was one of your favourite pass times.
I like to think that you and your sister are together now.
Rest Peacefully Anne
Well Mum you are finally at peace. There are no words to express how much I love you. You were there for me through thick and thin. I will always remember the laughter you provided to everyone around you. I can still see you with a cigarette in your mouth while you were playing cards. The memories I have of you are too numerous to put down here. Mum you were a kind and generous person to so many people and charities. They are still calling here for money lol. I will miss you beyond belief, you always comforted me and guided me in the right direction. Please say hi to Oma, Opa, Marijke and Marious. Thank you for having been my mother.
Love you Mom.
You taught us to work hard, laugh hard, save for a rainy day, enjoy the little things, accept what cannot be changed and forgive because that is a gift that is priceless. You told us that things will get better and you were always right.
You always saw the best in people. You were not afraid to take some risks in life, and encouraged me to do the same. Hearing you say that you were proud of me always made me warm inside . I love you Mom. you will always be with me
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest, It broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best. They say that memories are golden, Well maybe that is true, But we never wanted memories, we only wanted you, Your life was love and labour, Your love for your family true, You did your best for all of us, we will always remember you. We sat beside your bedside, Our hearts were crushed and sore, we did our duty to the end, till we could do no more. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away, and although our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. Our lips cannot speak how we loved you, Our hearts cannot tell what to say,But God only knows how we miss you in our home that is lonely today. You are Forever and Always loved and in Our hearts Mom we have been blessed to have had you in our lives, you were a wonderful Mother and Grandmother, love your daughter Marilyn, Ron, Lacey and Danni xoxoxo
