Thursday, November 8, 2018Many fond memories of working with Sandy for many years, first as living unit officers at Matsqui Institution, then in Case Management at Matsqui and finally in Case Management at William Head. He was always a supportive and caring colleague whose humor and intelligence lightened the load when the going got tough.

Thursday, November 8, 2018I worked with Sandy at WHI for a number of years. He was professional and a gentleman, with a dry wit. I remember being on a training session with him at RHQ. We had a company car that we weren't allowed to take across the border into the States. He insisted that I had to try his favourite Mexican family Resturant across the border. We parked on our side and walked through the border crossing in the pouring rain trying desperately to suppress our laughter as we explained what we doing crossing on foot... and why we're doing it. It was a great night. He was a good man and will be remembered fondly, by many.

Thursday, October 18, 2018So very sad. I worked with Sandy for several years at Matsqui. Sandy was one of the nicest guys that I've ever worked with. As a new officer to a new institution it can be difficult but Sandy always had a smile, a welcome and a story to share. Just an incredibly great, warm man that I am sure will be sorrily missed.

Monday, October 15, 2018Sandy my friend I will miss you here on earth. We have sent e-mail jokes for 14 years. Some have brought me to tears of laughter. We golfed together in the wee hours of the morning at Olympic View and then worked our shifts. Shared laughs as we plodded our way around the course. Enjoy the ride my friend. Kindest regards to Cheryl and your family. Dexter

Thursday, October 4, 2018Fond memory of that week in Mexico. When I see a clip of George Carlin, or hear an utterance that Carlin had made I think of Sandy and Cheryl. That photo of the 4 of us in the pool has been on my desk as a reminder of the wonderful time we enjoyed together. Good man, good life, good wife, can't ask for anything more.

Sandy, I really wish I could forward some of Cobb's scones to your forwarding address, as you requested.
