On June 21st, 2018 we lost a wonderful man, Lloyd (Ted) Lunt died peacefully in his sleep this morning at the age of 84.
He was the guy who would do anything for family, a friend, or even a stranger. If you needed it and he had it, he would not hesitate to loan, share or even give it to you.
He loved his family, wife, his sons, his daughters in-law, and grandchildren. Even his great grandchild who he had a chance to meet just recently.
Ted loved to golf and took every opportunity to get out on the golf course for any and every reason. He also loved to go fishing and he was an avid supporter of minor lacrosse in Esquimalt for many years.
He loved spending time in Parksville in their motor home and later the fifth wheel. He and Jackie would take the girls up in the winter for skating and in the summer for holidays while Bill and Fiona worked and he would attend every skating practice or competition. He took joy in everything his granddaughters accomplished and was not above bragging about it to anyone who would listen.
Ted loved to drive around and point at all of “his” buildings. He loved what he did, and he loved the people he got to work with and for. He loved helping people, it was one of his passions.
We will always remember and miss that twinkle in his eye that he would get when he smiled at you.
A true and faithful family man and friend till the very end, we will all miss Ted (Dad). His spirit, his friendship and his courage to fight will stay with us all forever.
